After you make this one time, you'll never settle for pre-packaged pesto again. Not only is the stuff in the store overpriced, but the homemade version is healthier for you and tastes much better.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Basil leaves, fresh
- 1/4 cups Pine nuts, toasted
- 2 Garlic cloves, peeled
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Black pepper
- 1/3 cups Olive oil
- 1/2 cups Grated parmesan

Instructions:
Add all ingredients except the cheese into a food processor or blender and pulse until the proper paste-like consistency. Place in container and stir in cheese. |
