Lemon Baked Tilapia with Dill Sauce

  This dish has a nice light lemon taste. The dill sauce is a nice change of pace from tartar sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 (4 oz) tilapia fillets
  • Salt & pepper, (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Rustic rub, Emeril Lagasse's seasoning
  • 3 Lemons, sliced
Topping:
  •  1/4 cups Mayonnaise.
  •  3/4 cups Sour cream.
  •  1/4 teaspoons Garlic powder.
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Lemon juice.
  • 3 tablespoons Dill, chopped.
Instructions:
OVEN directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Season tilapia fillets with salt, pepper and rustic rub on both sides, to taste. Arrange fillets in a single layer in the baking dish. Place lemon slices over fillets. Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

GRILLING directions:
Preheat grill. Place lemon slices in a single layer in fish grilling basket. Season tilapia fillets with salt, pepper and rustic rub on both sides, to taste. Layer seasoned fillets over lemon slices and tightly close grilling basket. Grill 3-5 minutes on one side. Flip basket and grill another 3-5 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.

DILL SAUCE:
Mix together mayo, sour cream, garlic powder, lemon juice and dill in a small bowl. Serve with tilapia.
