It is so easy to make. The chicken is incredibly moist and flavorful! A def fave! It makes enough for leftovers for several days!
Ingredients
- 4 pounds Whole chicken, fresh, free range chicken
- .33 tablespoons Bay leaves, fresh
- .33 tablespoons Basil, chopped
Marinade:
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice.
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil.
- .33 tablespoons Thyme, chopped.
- .33 tablespoons Poultry seasoning.

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. rinse chicken inside and out. Rub oil all over chicken. Sprinkle with seasonings and rub under skin. Cover with foil over a shallow baking dish. Bake 20 min. for every pound. Baste with drippings every 20 min. When time is up, uncover and broil to brown skin for a couple min. Let rest for 10 min. before carving. |
