Ground Turkey tomato sauce over Penne Pasta

This is a great recipe to freshen up a plain old spagetti recipe. The fennel seeds and feta cheese add a great tange to this tasty dish.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Green pepper, diced
- 1 pounds Ground turkey
- 28 ounces Crushed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoons Fennel seeds, chopped
- 1 teaspoons Dried oregano
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cups Feta cheese, crumbled
- 3 cups Penne pasta

Instructions:
Bring a pot of water to boiling. Add a pinch of salt and penne pasta. When done, drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, heat a large skillet to medium heat. Add olive oil and saute garlic and green pepper. And turkey and brown. Add tomatoes, fennel, oregano and salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Serve tomato mixture over penne pasta. Sprinkle with feta cheese. |
